About the Centre

Home of 19 time Irish National Waterski Champion Barry Galvin. Situated about half hour drive from Cork City or twenty minutes from Blarney. We are based on the River Lee in the beautiful Lee Valley.
Whether it is your first time or you already have the "know how" you will enjoy and benefit from your time here. If it is your first time all you need is an appointment, your swim gear and a towel. The club will provide you with a wetsuit if you don't have one (hire is included in the price of the lesson), also they will provide you with skis or a wakeboard and a buoyancy aid(also included).

Courses

Lessons provided from 4 years and older. It is very family orientated and the club have many families who return year after year for their annual waterskiing holiday

Shop

Recommended that if you have your own gear to bring this with you as this is what you will be using at home. If you do not own anything don't panic, they have an on site fully stocked pro-shop where you can buy anything that you may need including skis, wakeboards, mono-skis, wetsuits, personal flotation devices, ropes handles and loads of other great stuff including clothing and sunglasses

Directions

When you reach Cork city, take the N22 west as far as the Ballincollig west exit(r608), you will immediately take the Ballincollig exit(last exit) at the first roundabout,and straight through the second roundabout(2nd exit for Ballincollig west) between two arches.
Go to the end of this road(go straight through a small roundabout half way down) and at the traffic lights take a right turn. At the next roundabout take the first left for Inniscarra.

This is a very narrow two way road so carefully over the bridge and at the T-junction take a left turn for Dripsey. Nearly there now. Set your mile clock now and there is 4.9 miles to go, the club is on the left, around a tight bend, turn in tight left at the water-ski club sign.Park your car and come and say hello.
