Royal Irish Yacht Club

About the Centre

The Club was founded in 1831 and features the first purpose-built Yacht Clubhouse in the world. The building is now a listed structure and retains to this day all its original architectural features combined with state of the art facilities for sailors both ashore and afloat.

Visiting yachtsmen both cruising and racing are always welcome to the Club and are encouraged to take advantage of the excellent facilities that we have at our disposal. If you are visiting from another Club please have with you a letter of introduction from your Club or introduce yourself to the Club Secretary Pauline Farnan who will show you the Club's facilities. We look forward to welcoming you to the Club and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us directly or browse the website which we hope contains the additional information you require.
